Kim has always been one of my favorite singers, ever since her first album came out when I was in high school. She has a great voice, and even though her songs can be kind of cheesy, they're always well-done with a sense of style all her own. It's awesome that she's started making records again in the last few years after a long hiatus from the music business!

Good to hear that Angsty...you know it just dawned on me after hearing Kim that she really reminds me of the Janey Street 75 or so album around here that everyone likes so much. Same singing voice type i think.

Yeah, she DOES remind me of Janey Street a lot, I agree!

She did a great comeback album in 2007, "Never Say Never," and a covers album called "Snapshots" after that. Her covers of the Cars' "Just What I Needed" and the Buzzcocks' "Ever Fallen in Love" are really great. And her "Wilde Winter Songbook" is one of the Christmas albums that was always playing around here last month!
